ecclesia’s morning service included a program of christmas carols by the children. here are some pictures
ultramacro
jennifer and i had a photo shoot today… she had the idea for the pennies suspended on the table, and then we decided to construct a makeshift extension tube out of a pringles can.

picture archives
due to the large number of pictures, i’ve decided to move some of the older ones into an archives section. they’ll be available at http://images.wisch.org/archives for future reference.
lincoln center
pictures from the lincoln center Christmas party are available now here.
a couple of samples, as per the usual:

more macro
enjoyed a bit more macro today. this time a nice butterfly and lizard. the gallery is, as before, here.
these small images don’t really do it justice – especially the lizard.
bush library macro pics (150)
while waiting for will to get out of class today, i went out with the new sigma 150 macro to take some pictures. first general impressions – this is a fantastic lens. well built, fast focusing, sharp and with good color. good speed/length combination. i was able to shoot pics of the spider for a good 10 minutes without him ever really knowing that i was there. so far, i wish i’d had this lens years ago!
you can check out the rest of the pictures here.
star rotations
some fun star rotations from this weekend: hopefully i’ll have larger versions up at some point in a simpleviewer gallery along with other pictures from the weekend…
wedding pictures
pictures this weekend from stuart and sarah’s wedding available here.
some examples:
butterflies
got a chance to take some butterfly shots out at bush today. a couple came out good…
